Come be merry with us and give it a shot.
Step back into a time when all is fair at the Faire! Are you game?
The Cock n' Bow Archery Range with it's Merry Archers will be at the
Shrewsbury Renaissance Faire on the 2nd weekend of September! This will be our last year (2018) providing our Archery Range. Thank you for your patronage!
Please visit our booth, for there is no bad shot, and if your aim is true your arrow will hit the target and if it doesn't it will sure to hit something!
Join us for lots of laughter!
Our Merry Archers will offer a Shoot Off competition only on Saturday
at the hour of 2 of the clock. Entry fee is $10, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes.
We are a participatory booth, allowing people of all ages to shoot with our longbows and arrows.
Several sizes of longbows are available for different pull strengths and our wooden arrows are the arrows of choice.
We use longbows made of high quality Manau Wood from the Totthan Palm Tree. Smooth drawing, great for beginners and bows are ambidextrous (can be shot right or left handed). We also provide and require that arm guards be worn for your safety .
We offer a shorter distance shooting station for children with smaller bows and arrows for their use.
Our fee is reasonable, allowing the archer to shoot 6 arrows and we even throw in some advice and
instructions if needed.
Fully insured and experienced range masters are here to make sure all safety guidelines are followed and to insure that you have a Hip, Hip, Huzzah experience!! >>>------->

The men were bred in England:
The bowman-the yeoman-
The lads of dale and fell
Here's to you-and to you;
To the hearts that are true
And the land where the true hearts dwell." anonymous
